Hey, I’m Cass.
A messaging expert and copywriter for established service businesses
A bit about me
I never really wanted to be a marketer.
I liked to write. I liked psychology. And I’ve always been a major empath who understood how people think and feel.
I was actually on the journalism career path — until I stumbled into a content marketing internship in college. And what started as a resume booster quickly grew into something bigger.
I resisted it at first, because man, marketing can be evil sometimes.
Like many people, I immediately hated the manipulation, dishonesty, and sleaziness associated with this industry.
But I realized it isn’t so black-and-white. And if there were more marketers like me — who care about making a positive impact and supporting businesses that help people — it’s actually a really important career to lean into.
So I did.
I loved combining my creativity with strategy. Understanding how empathy can make a real impact. And turning a “sleazy” field into something we can all be proud of.
Career highlights
How long? 8+ years in content marketing, copywriting, and brand messaging
What industries? SaaS, to start. Then established service businesses like fitness studios, professional services, designers, photographers, and more.
Any accomplishments? Oh yeah — here are my faves:
Saved 10,000 hours setting up an AI content-generating system for a SaaS business
Made $12K for a dance studio by sending four emails
Increased revenue by 45% for my first freelance client in the first year of working together
Got 700K+ impressions over 6 months of experimenting on LinkedIn
Earned special accolades from a CEO for the Reddit memes I created as a measly junior copywriter
Curious about anything else I’ve done? Shoot me a message or book a quick intro call.
“Great marketers have immense empathy for their audience.
They can put themselves in their shoes, live their lives, feel what they feel, go where they go, and respond how they’d respond.
That empathy comes out in content that resonates with your audience.”
— Rand Fishkin | Co-founder + CEO of Moz

FAQs
-
I work with established service businesses that already have steady demand, traffic, or referrals — but know their messaging, website, or email systems aren’t pulling their weight.
Most of my clients are:
Professional service providers
Marketing agencies, consultants, or studios looking for white-label work
Local, online, or hybrid service businesses
Teams that want better leads, not just more marketing activity
If you’re brand new or still validating your offer, I’m probably not the right fit yet.
-
I help businesses fix the quiet conversion problems that stall growth — specifically:
Website traffic that doesn’t turn into inquiries
Leads who don’t fully understand your value
Email lists that exist but don’t drive sales
Messaging that sounds fine, but doesn’t persuade
My work focuses on clarity, structure, and strategy — not trendy tactics or volume-for-volume’s-sake marketing.
-
I specialize in messaging and conversion-focused copy across:
Websites and landing pages
Email marketing across the customer lifecycle
Search-to-conversion alignment (SEO → site → email)
Audits and strategic recommendations that guide execution
I don’t typically offer one-off “random copy” — especially for brand-new clients who haven’t completed an audit, roast, or introductory service yet.
Everything is grounded in how your customers actually find you, evaluate you, and decide to buy.
-
My audits are designed to identify where you’re losing revenue — and why.
Depending on the engagement, that can include:
Messaging clarity and positioning
Page structure and conversion flow
Email sequences and lifecycle gaps
SEO and intent alignment
Delivery via Google Doc and/or Loom video
You’ll walk away with clear priorities, recommendations, and next steps — whether or not we continue working together.
-
AI can help you write something. It can’t:
Decide what matters most to your buyer
Spot structural or strategic gaps
Align messaging across channels
Make judgment calls based on real-world conversion behavior
The value I bring is thinking, positioning, and decision-making, not just wordsmithing.
-
Most projects start with:
An audit or strategic review
Clear recommendations and priorities
Execution support based on your needs (copy, revisions, or ongoing optimization)
This keeps things focused, efficient, and grounded in results, rather than endless revisions or vague “branding” exercises.
-
Pricing depends on scope and complexity, but I work with businesses that are ready to invest in improving conversion, not just “getting copy written.”
If you’re looking for the cheapest option, I won’t be the best fit.
If you’re looking for clarity, strategy, and work that actually supports revenue — we should talk.
-
Yes — that’s often when my work is most impactful.
If people are finding you but not converting consistently, that’s usually a messaging or structure issue, not a traffic problem. That’s exactly where I help.
